“…I talk a lot but I don’t really have a lot to say”
Levi Karter, an exclusive model for Cockyboys.com since January of 2013, is now well seasoned in the ways of the industry. Now 21-years-old and living in New York Karter also works behind the scenes under the direction of film maker and mentor Jake Jaxon. With new projects on presenting themselves every day to Levi, from book tours to web series, He finds himself quite busy, but after being with one studio for such a long period of time, is he still truly happy. We discuss this, and much more, including sex, guilty pleasures and the possibility of life without the Cockyboys when I caught up with Levi on a busy day of pre-production at the New York studios.
CC– “Thank you so much for doing this interview, Levi.”
LK– “Of course. My pleasure. Thank you of thinking of me.”
CC- “So let’s start with a fun question what turns you on in a guy?”
LK– “I definitely really have a big attraction to soccer player, rugby player like legs. I think it’s even hotter than people who only work out their upper body, if that makes sense. I like Italians because they are always hot, and my favorite Cockyboy is Ricky and he’s half Italian so…”
CC- “Ricky Roman?”
LK-“ Yah, its super exciting because he’s here at the studio today. He’s going to be here for a week. Sorry I got off topic already, what was the question?”
CC-“What turns you on personality wise?”
LK-“I kind of see myself attracted to more outgoing personalities but then I also have a thing for the douchebag jock types, Yah know? Like he’s a douchebag but he’s still kind of nice to you. I like that. But I definitely am more attracted to outgoing people, because even though I’m put in this spot light in porn, in reality I talk a lot but I don’t really have a lot to say.”
CC- “Hahaha! That’s fantastic.”
LK- “I also like Midwesterners because they always seem more genuine when they talk to you.”
CC- “Ok name your turn off.”
LK- “Umm, Bad breath for sure, a bad smile, and also any negativity cause like I don’t really need that around me in my life. So I tend to shut out those kind of people. I like easy going positive people.”
CC- “What do you like to do in bed?”
LK- “Haha. Outside of porn, I really love poppers hahaha. My friends at my studio really make jokes about it…I really like to 69 and giving blow jobs sometimes I really enjoy just the foreplay Like I can get off just from a blow job. And that’s nice.”
CC- “Any tips on sex?”
LK- “There should be no shame in sex…If you’re being safe about it and you’re having conversation about it then there should be no guilt in it. Like there should be no shame in sex. Masturbation shouldn’t feel guilty. Does that make sense? I don’t know; just don’t feel shame in sex.”
CC- “What’s your perfect day off?”
LK- “I think the perfect day would be on the beach in Fire Island, but you really can only do that for one season of the year. So if I get one day off to myself I like to go to my friend’s house in Harlem and we’ll go to the park or we’ll like play video games and watch Big Brother and that’s a perfect day, like that’s what this summer has been. I don’t get to see my friends a lot just because I’m working so much but I have fun working too though haha.”
CC- “That’s a good Segway to the next question. Just like some random questions here to get to know you better. What are some of your favorite TV shows?”
LK- “Awkward on MTV and Nashville and there’s a show called Young and hungry which I know is a bit of a corny show but I really recommend that people check it out.”
CC- “What’s your favorite movie?”
LK- “I always say Mean girls is my favorite movie.”
CC- “What are some of your current jams?”
LK- “I love like the Nikki Minaj Hey Mama song, and I love Cool for the summer by Demi Lovato, I found this like cool remix of it and it’s been like my summer anthem. I love it. Other than that I’m really just waiting for this Rhianna album to come out, because it’s been too long”
CC- “How do you stay fit?”
LK- “I try to work out Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 4 times a week and I usually have a split work out, like lower body one day and then upper body the next. But when I’m busier like I know I have a full busy week then I usually just do a full body workout.”
CC- “Do you have any junk food guilty-pleasures?”
LK- “Everyone thinks this is weird, like my mom makes fun of me for it, and my director Jake Jaxon makes fun of me for it. But I like to eat frozen waffles, but I mean they’re already cooked so it’s fine.”
CC-“Oh you mean you don’t heat it up or anything? What do you do, just let it defrost and then munch on it?”
LK-“Yah, well I mean if you put the butter and syrup on it, the butter freezes and then the syrup gets really cold too so it’s kind of like a waffle sundae for me when you bit into it, if you can use your imagination on the ice cream part. But I’ve always done that, as long as I can remember.”
CC-“Are there any upcoming projects to look out for? Anyone you want to give a shout out too?”
LK- “Can I give a shout out to Casey Tanner and say that I love him? He’s my favorite person in the industry.”
CC- “Sure, of course.”
LK-“And upcoming projects, mine and Liam’s interview with James Dean is coming out soon and keep an eye out for the Meeting Liam because we are filming the ending to that this weekend.
CC-“Ok lastly I wanted to ask you about Cockyboys. Were they the first studio you worked with?”
LK- “First and only.”
CC- “Have you ever considered working for another studio? Maybe still working with Cockyboys but not as an exclusive anymore?”
LK-“Well I have had thought about it, but when I think about it, It’s more like ‘do I really want to be in this industry?’ But I am just very thankful for Cockyboys like I couldn’t ask for a safer environment. They gave me a day job as production coordinator where I have this great job skill to walk away with so I feel so safe and good. Like it just feels right, very like, I fit in and I couldn’t see myself happy with another studio.”
CC-“Having done the same job every day for almost three years, seeing the same people at appearances and events and having to do scenes with the same kind of boys all the time, do you ever feel afraid you might fall into a rut?”
LK-“No, because the Cockyboys (studio) is getting bigger in bigger, not just in the industry but it’s growing. I think I’m going places, for sure, and like we keep doing new events and new things every year, Like we went on a book tour. We went to London and Paris and Berlin and Liam and I are getting ready to go back to Berlin and I think we are going back to Paris in November. I mean I’m getting my fulfillment at my job. I will say, I will add, when I did consider other studios, I mean I never really considered it but when I just thought what it would be like to be at like Men.com like a studio that has more of a hardcore edge and they participate in the sex shows and stuff. I want to be a part of that, like I love being in the spotlight. But I don’t want to walk in there and be like ‘Oh hey I’m great!’ and everybody is like ‘No you’re not. You take your clothes off for attention.’ But I realize we are going so many places and I am so Happy where I am at and don’t see myself, like if I leave CockyBoys it’ll be because I’m leaving the industry.”
